John James Officially Added to Energy and Commerce Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representative John James’ appointment to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee was officially ratified by the U.S. House of Representatives.

John James will now serve on the following committees and subcommittees:

Energy and Commerce Committee

Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce

Subcommittee on the Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Minerals

Foreign Affairs Committee

Subcommittee on Africa (Chairman)

Subcommittee for Western Hemisphere

Rep. James issued the following statement regarding the ratification of his appointment:

“I am honored to have been appointed to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee. Michigan’s Tenth Congressional District is the arsenal of democracy and the number-one manufacturing district in America. Southeast Michigan is the epicenter of the American automotive, supply chain, research and development, and advanced manufacturing industries, and it is essential that we have representation on the Energy and Commerce Committee.
