Warren, Michigan – Congressman John James is now accepting submissions for this year’s Congressional Artistic Discovery Contest.

High school students from District 10 should submit their original work by completing the 2023 Student Release Form and dropping off their artwork with a completed release form directly to Congressman John James District Office by Monday, April 17 at 5 p.m.

The first-place piece will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year and featured on House.gov's Congressional Art Competition page. The winning artist will be invited to attend the Congressional Art Reception in Washington, D.C.

“The Congressional art competition is an excellent opportunity for the next generation of young artists to showcase their gifts,” said James. “I look forward to seeing the talent in District 10.”
