James Issues Statement Following Trip to Israel and Meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu

Contact: Noah Sadlier (586)-498-7122 Today, Representative John James (MI-10) issued the following statement after taking a trip to Israel with the House Foreign Affairs Committee to receive an update on the war in the Middle East: “I traveled to Israel over the weekend with a Congressional Delegation for a briefing on the war from Ambassador Lew, Defense Minister Gallant and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We also met with some of the families of the 240 hostages held by Hamas. “We will turn our heartbreak and anger into action. America must help get these hostages home safely, and support Israel in its right to defend itself. “I am as proud to stand with Israel as I was proud to stand in Israel for the first time in my life.
