Rep. James Issues Statement on Mayorkas Impeachment

Sadlier WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representative John James (MI-10) issued the following statement regarding the House Homeland Security Committee’s ongoing impeachment inquiry of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas:
“Secretary Mayorkas must be impeached and tried for treason. Evidence has proven that Mayorkas’ sustained and willful betrayal of the public trust makes him an accessory to the poisoning of millions of Americans complicit in a modern-day slave trade and so derelict in his duty to secure the homeland that it crosses unequivocally into the realm of high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Last month, Rep. James visited Eagle Pass, TX to see the border crisis taking place under the Biden Administration. John James has also been vocally outspoken about the northern border crisis, which is taking place on the border of John James’ congressional district.
